i need help
i just droped in my new engine a coupple of days ago it is a 408 and here is my problem we got it runing and it has been perfect for about a week i have had no problems at all untill yesterday i changed my oil and my brother took apart my dash to replace the spedo cable but after we were done i started my truck and put it into gear and it would hardly stay running it was hovering at around 5-6 hundred rpm but was real sloppy and jerky but when i took it out of gear it seemed to be 0kay it would rev up fine untill i put it in gear, so i took it for a drive and while it was moving it is fine it has all of the power in the would but when i come to a stop the idel drops and it rund ruff, i get on the gass and it takes off fine untill i stop again please help me
