I really can not believe what a dog my truck was before. Kudos to Predator, very smooth running, tranny shifts are nice (still waiting to put in my Sonnax/Tricum) and power band feels really good. I am only on the 60 hp setting for now as I dont have any gauges. I dont tow so I am sure it will be fine. The BTM muffler sounds so awesome, it is all that I hoped for.
My observations-
Idle No difference in sound
Take off- Noticable rumble, turbo whistle
Floor it- Pretty Loud, but very, very livable
Freeway speeds (55-60mph, very noticable low hum in cab)
Anything above 70MPH- Truck makes no noise at all-
Turbo whistle is priceless- But now with the programmer I get the noticable compressor surge, flutter, guess I will need to buy the wicked wheel, or a BB turbo, or a ..........
Guess I got Bitten!
P.S.- Should I unplug my wastegate, or not?, anything else I should do?

Congradulations! I love my Predator too!
Don't do anything more until you get gauges. It will not only keep your engine in the safe operating range, you can compare how your engine is running with others with similar mods. And correct any problem areas if it isn't up to par by asking questions. Just keep reading and learning.
Just ordered Dipricol gauges, piller,BTM,AIH plug from black clouds looking forwards to the MODS. I thought I would do that first to see if had any problems before the predator order. How was the BTM install. I Have been keeping My eye on jonny8 mods we have about the same idea on them. BLACK CLOUDS ARE ADREAM TO DEAL WITH Even gave my a discount YEHA!!!
I have mine unplugged for over a year and notice quicker throttle response and no loss of boost when pulling. Unplugged is much like having the Banks big actautor which prevents the waste gate from opening and releasing boost pressure. There is usually no difference though if there are no mods..
Don't just unplug the wastegate, plug the line. Easiest way is to stick it on the thread ends for the boot right in front of it.
Leave it open at the cannister, mod takes about 15 seconds.
Powerstroked, don't do ANYTHING with that Predator other than stock settings until you get gauges. I'm just repeating what was said above, and all over this forum. It's THAT important!
I, also, got my DiPricols from Blackcloud, Garrett is a great guy to deal with.
I'm glad thay are a sponsor of this board!

Well bean explains it much more succinctly than I am able to regarding turbos, but the unplugging the wastegate allows the turbo to operate out of its efficiency range, it will boost higher, but it actually becomes a hindrance at higher boost levels. I will call bean and have him come on here and give the more technical definition. I'm far from a turbo guru, but I have found that when I am testing programs, if its plugged in, my truck will continue to pull harder at higher rpm's and speeds, than when its unplugged.

i would be VERY interested to hear this because i have mine unplugged and my mule is much more responsive under every driving condition i have encountered... i don't claim to be an expert on turbos... far from it... but i don't see how starting to dump boost as early as 5 psi can help your psd... of course i don't run my truck "out on the edge"... it's not set up for that... however.. i do think the added boost really helps when i'm towing the 5ver... now i just gotta get the btm on so i can get those egts down... i'm also looking at putting together a "mist system" of my own to help the egts on those big hills, (some folks call them mountains...!)
