I have a 1989 f250 with a 7.3L diesel. The upper radiator hose came off while driving (wasn't clamped tight) and I beleive it overheated. I stopped as soon as I noticed a little steam. (running only water in the coolant, because there is some oil residue from a blown oil cooler) Now when I drive it, there is blue smoke pretty much all the time, even at idle. Is this something that is gonna cost a fortune, or is it possibly something simple? Any help would be appreciated.

just got back from a week of vacation. The blue smoke is gone now, except when it gets hot, at highway speeds with a light throttle, it will buck and spit out smoke like crazy. If I take my foot off the accelerator, it goes away, and if I push harder on the accelerator it goes away. Only happens when it is hot. Don't notice any lack of power or rough running on back roads. Possibly a bad injection pump?
