Leaf Springs
It seems like my 96 f-250/ind front sus/has started to creak and groan alot more now. Mostly when starting out and stopping. The noises seem to come from suspension but I'm not sure. Is this normal in this model. I've got 125000 miles. I changed the shocks and checked all mount bolts I could think of down there. The springs are all that's left far as I know.

Well, creaks and groans are gonna happen, the truck is 10 years old now. I would look at all the bushings and greaseable areas. Anything that can move, can make noises, but that is where I'd start. It could be the leafs, as there is friction there too, but usually that is worn bushings and grease fitting.
