90s E-150 Instrument cluster Q

Hi,

Did any of the '90s (early to mid) models ever come with an instrument cluster with tach?

If so, does anyone have a pic of it?

May I assume you mean the new bodystyle? I think they changed in 1992. I know for certain that I have never seen a 91 or older with a tach.

I don't think so. You could use a truck cluster, but there is no guarantee that the wiring is the same...

I doubt a truck cluster is dimentionally the same as the van cluster. Perhaps I'm wrong.

The '92 and later models are pretty close, if not the same.

That is what I am thinking too pfogle. Looking at the base instrument cluster (no tach) between the Aerostar/F-150/E-150 looks very cloose (dimensionally and design) except for the location of the trouble lights. (example: The Aerostar/E-150 CE light is on the lower left 3-bank of lights where on the F-150 is located where our brake light is.)

If I can pick up a F cluster cheap enough, I guess I will be a guine big on this swap.
