The '92 and later models are pretty close, if not the same.
That is what I am thinking too pfogle. Looking at the base instrument cluster (no tach) between the Aerostar/F-150/E-150 looks very cloose (dimensionally and design) except for the location of the trouble lights. (example: The Aerostar/E-150 CE light is on the lower left 3-bank of lights where on the F-150 is located where our brake light is.)
If I can pick up a F cluster cheap enough, I guess I will be a guine big on this swap.
The only Aero cluster that came with a tach was the full digital cluster. They have been known to go out easily and have issues. Downfalls would be that I would have to replace a bunch of sensors so it could read them and they are outrageously priced (ie rare).
