Swapping Horn Pads...how?
Hey,
How would someone swap out JUST the horn pad COVER? I dont want to replace the whole thing because I dont want the air bag and all that, I dont think it would work from a newer F-150 on a 97 Expedition...as 97's did not have second gen air bags and the newer fords have the personal safety system. I just want the cover that has the blue ford emblem like in this pic:
Is that possible on a 97? Can I just swap the the cover or do I need the whole air bag assembly?
Also, how hard is it to swap out the wheel part? Is it complicated or a simple job?

I like the way that looks, I think Ill look into that, maybe fiddle with the stock horn pad and try to graft that emblem on there. On second thought any modifications done to that horn pad wont do you any good if you get into an accident and the airbag gets deployed. Just a thought.
