Need more confirmation, please!
I just bought that oil pan that some one suggested a while ago. It;s that mustang BB oil pan for my conversion 351m to 560 in my 78 F150 4X4. i have hooker headers so i cant use Moroso's or Milodon pans. I was just wondering if any one else can give some comfort in this situation?..... Please...... Help..... Thanks
I don't know any Mustangs that are 4x4's.

Its also a direct replacement for the 80 - 96 F-series trucks.
I have one in my 82 F-250 4x4, swapped over to a 460. Fits perfectly. No clearence issues at all.
I see no reason for it not to work in the 79 and back 4x4 trucks swapping to a 460 or 429.

fordlowboy, is this what you have? It should work fine.
yes it is a ford racing oil pan. I dont want to lift it any more than it al ready is. I like the handling it has, and the mud capibilitys. i put 33X12.5 tires on 15x12.5 inch rims nice combo on stock ride hieght. I have shocks out of a 2ton truck. really stiff and yet a nice ride.
