Might be easy for you...but a lot of the guys that were going on the 6th are 2 to 4 hours away.
Sure, and Mels was going to be a 3.5 hour drive for me - just for a hamburger and fellowship. This way there is a car show, and a old car swap meet, plus the FTE meeting and lunch.
Purhaps we could have two meetings? I can't make Mels and the swap meet during the same weekend - too much driving, to long away from home.
I expect a lot of the FTE guys were going to the swap meet anyway.
ok well where would be best for everyone? I really wanna do this meet at turlock swap meet but that's a long drive as 81-f-150-explorer said. we live pretty close together and that a long drive.i'm thinking sac would be about 1 hour or so.
Aaron, you're the Chapter Leader. Follow your plan. If you wanna add in a Turlock meet too, that's cool as well. It is mainly up to you (and of course all members as well). The important thing is to get the chapter rolling. I think wherever is fine, just getting started is the first challenge. Some folks may not be able to make some areas easily. I'm clear on the other side of the Sierras from ya'll so I understand difficulties. Just please give early enough notice on your final so I can do my best to show. Advanced planning is key for me.
Tim
I started the "where you live thread" because not everyone has a location in their profile. I think once everyone (or most folks) chime in on that thread we will have a better idea as to how scattered we may or may not be.
Since the 20th is tomorrow...what's the word Aaron? Unfortunately I can not make it...gotta work
ZombieSlayer, I believe it is supposed to be in the evening so if you work days, maybe you can make it. Aaron, what's the final? If it gets any later, it may be difficult for me to plan.

Well it's my first/last day working this project and I'm expected to work 0600-1800 with the possiblity of working Sunday but not likely.
We need to plan this out a lil better. No one really checked in till today and yesterday. I say we make it the 3rd of September. No changing it. It's the third, final. Mel's in Roseville @ 6:00pm. SO EVERYONE TRY AND MAKE IT!!!!! there's no changing it now. unless something eXtremely terrible happens. Let's hear from everyone.
