weird knocking sound

weird knocking sound
i have an 88 F150 4x4 with a 302 V8. i had to replace the belt tensioner about a year ago and so that noise went away but now recently i have started to hear this weird knocking sound. i have no idea where its comeiong from or what it is. anyone have any suggestions ideas or comments?

Take your belt off and start it only for a few seconds and see if it goes away. My smog pump makes a knockin noise cause I think the bearings are out, but I'm not worried about replacing it.
