Adhesive for weather-stripping?
Black 3M weather-stripping adhesive available at any Auto parts store is the only way to go.

78bigguns - 3M "yellow glue" adhesive is what I've used - even when doing warranty trim repair for Pontiac; this was THE glue to use...

go into an auto parts store and ask for Gorilla Snot. if they look at you weird then leave and find a good parts store. the 3M weatherstrip adhesive is available at any good parts store in black or yellow. the yellow stuff came first and so the nick name Gorilla Snot (you will understand when you use it)! hawkrod

Hawkrod ---- WHAH hah ha ha ha.....that's right; I'd forgotten about that!!...Gorilla snot is also what we called it 30 some years ago!!...

I also use Gorilla Snot aka 3M Super Weatherstrip & Gasket Adhesive Part Number 08001 or 08002 depending on the size of the tube.
