Lost Some Information

I hate to admit I was foolish enough not to make proper notes, but I lost the information about where I got the four images below. I would greatly appreciate it if the original donors and/or knowledgeable folks would point me in the right direction. Specifically, I need to know what year(s) each of the illustrations apply to, and if possible, the source of the images (especially the 6-1/2 foot pickup image) so I can arrange to get higher resolution copies for my reference page. Thanks for any and all help on this.

I believe these pertain to all '48-'52 trucks. As for the source, I know I have it in a book somewhere in a box in the garage. Those images weren't very large in the book, I don't know how much better res I could offer...

1948-1950 Ford

The pictures look like they are from

OFP-1
1948 -50 Ford Truck
Specifications and Features Manual

Obsolete Ford Parts Company
Division of Ford, INC
311 E. Washington Avenue
Nashville, GA 31639
Telephone 912-686-2470/5101

I can scan them for you from the book at a higher resolution, the problem is the book is 4" x 8" not very big. The pictures in the book appear to be a good print not fuzzy.

Looks like the illustrations came for:

FORD PICKUP TRUCKS
Developement history and restoration guide
1948-56
by Paul G. McLaughlin

I have the book.

Earl,

The second image (6 1/2' bed) looks like 1948 -1950.

98% sure.

I'm never 100% sure about anything (except death and taxes).

George,
Those have probably been published in a # of sources ...but they look exactly like the specification drawings in my Ford Truck Owner's Manual that I have for the '53-'56 trucks. It's aglove box size booklet,... for the Glove Box!
Midfifty's carries 'em

Chris, if you can scan them at 600 dpi or so and e-mail them to me, I would really appreciate it. My other option is to pick up a book for myself.

I will scan them tonight or tommorrow 600 DPI is not a problem. I will scan then as high as possible and let you resize them.

George

I have all the 48 - 50 images, for all the Trucks for those years, plus all the specs, options, eyc.
These are from the 1948 Ford Truck Handbook. This book was for salemen.

Problem: I am haveing serious trouble with my scanner and the scanner operator (me).
To get the High res images I had to scan them into a PDF format, which is a multi step process and right now that process and I are not compatable.

Note: The chassis diagram is from the maintanence manual.

I'll Email you some stuff.

Yeah John, I already swiped all your 1953 images - after asking your permission to use them of course (I bet you forgot) . You got credit - as in "Images courtesy of John Niolon" on each one, so I think I'm covered.

Dick C. has helped out, and right now I'm down to just two images that I still can't ID - the first two. The first one is definitely not a 1953 or later - the dimensions don't match another source I have and the cab is not the right shape. I'm wondering if it's an F-2 from either the 1948-1950 or 1951-1952 years?

The second image is also earlier than 1953, but the dimensions don't match the 1948-1950 truck info I got from Dick - which is pretty solid as far as accuracy goes. Could that second image be a 1951-1952 F-1? Enquiring minds want to know.

The first one by the grill area is '51/'52 and has to be F2-F4 with the 8' box.
Second one is '48-'50 F1 and is from the Owner's Manual
Panel is also '48-'50 by grill id
Frame pix is right out of the Shop Manual p. 196
