Tranny heading out

A year ago, I swamped by Bronco and the tranny was completely submerged (C6). Got lotsa water in it, so the clutch material has slowly been coming off all the parts. I've since put 7k miles on it and it hasn't been acting up yet. Any idea how much longer it will last? I'm curious to see how long it goes before it starts slippin'

It is hard to tell. I would just keep driving it until you start having problems. Who knows, maybe you will get lucky...maybe.

Yeah, did all that. Three times, actually. First right afterwards, drove it around a few miles and did a second, then a third after 100 miles on the highway. Even after the third flush I still got black soot in the pan, so it's gonna start to fall apart one of these days.
