nope. and there is no point, any normal chip can pull everything your injectors can give, which is only about 98CC. this is about 25cc over what stock programming is asking of them

yeah, because you have an older model... i have the same year truck. shimming aint gonna help the amount of fuel you can flow, the stock injectors arent physcially capable of flowing more fuel. and get rid of that banks garbage, get ahold of tony wildman, or jodi tipton, get a real chip. if you wnat there contact info, pm. here is my truck

what about do they charge for a custom burn?? whish i had alot more info before i bought it. most guys here hate gale for some reson. so if i slready have tapped out my injectors then how can they make me get more fuel???
what kind of boost can you max out @. mine is only like 19-20. i had a bad gauge @ 1st that never went below 10psi. but it would reach 28psi. so i wonder if the 10 was really 0 or if it was 10 and reading only 18?? banks claims 26 w/ this kit i have. i am gonna look for a turbo ot a boot leak soon thoung. already checked all the gauge hoses.

Ditto on what Stroker said.

Go with a Tipton, TS, or Twildman chip. You won't be sorry.

I believe an 1/8th inch of shaft movement is considered about normal. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

thta sounds about right for shaft movement, mine is only about 110 thousand, but i was told my wheel is fine. once you have a chip that maxes out your injectors, then its time for bigger injectors, but unless you want to spend money on a tranny or clutch, dont even think about those, i have a set of baby swamps, and i love em, but my clutch and flywheel ran me almost 1000 to hold up to them. 26 pounds, not on your truck, not with stock injectors. 22-24 pounds max. 18 doesnt sound to bad, but could be better.Banks makes exagerated claims, and chargers to dang much money, if you read his claims for our bodystyle trucks, they are made with a 97 truck, with cali split shots that are about 120CC's.

Also if you go looking for a turbo leak, let me know. I know of a handy little doodad you can build yourself to find a leak with the engine off.

Thats the one I was gonna point you to. I found three small leaks in 15 minutes that 2 diesel mechs and a month of searching did not.

I had 2 in the same Y pipe boot (each end) and one in one of the intercooler boots. The upgraded hose clamps that Dieselsite sells are really the way to go.

Keep in mind I have a BB turbo. Before leaks were found I could only get 20-22#'s of boost. Now I can run it up to 32-34 pounds.

i did read alot and did some research too, but i did not see the part where larger $$$$$ injectors were used. that makes me pissed!!!! cuz that is like $ 1500 more. WTF thanks man
