Hitch class question

Hitch class question
We tow a 27' tt with our 2002 X, about 5000lbs dry weight. I know I should have the answer to this, but what class hitch is that? (ie: Class 1, 2, 3). I believe it to be a class 3 hitch but am not certain. I need to rent a 6'x12' closed trailer to move some equipment and need to confirm the hitch type. For the record, how do you tell?
