wheres the engine serial number
I have an 01 psd and after hearing all of the stories about how unreliable the cps/camp sensor is I have decided to pick one up as a spare. I am going to go through an International store and thought I would get the engine serial number before I ordered it ( thought they might need that). My question is where on the engine is it located. I found a number on a sticker located just in front of where the fuel filter reservoir is at on top of the engine. Maybe thats not it.

check where the oil cooler bolts up to the block at the rearon the flat surface you should be able to see it,you might have to use a scotch bright pad.and twildman is right it wont be needed
