I have a 1994 F150 with a 302. I bought it from my grandpa a few weeks ago and trying to get it into great working order. No problems yet, just replaced the thermostat, but i noticed today that the AC compressor squeels when i turn on the ac, but only at idle, when i give it a little gas, it stops. Am i supposed to oil it, and the other thing is there is a clicking sound from the front end when im sitting still and i turn the wheel.

well on the ac compressor, does it blow cool? if not, you probably have a leak and all the freon leaked out, wich contains lube for the pump. dont run it till you get it checked out. poping in the front end is probably due to worn busshings. if you get a bushing kit it should fix that problem.

It also could be your ball joints. Older TTB Fords make a heavy "clicking" sound when turned and the ball joints are headed south. Another One to look for especially if you have a 4x4 is the frame rivets in and around the tranny/transfer case section of the truck. Due to years of twisting back/forth, up/down etc the rivets wear out a touch and "creak". Mine did so I drilled them out and replaced with grade 8 bolts and loc-tite. Enjoy your truck. The middle years like your and mine I believe are the best. They are a little older so they need TLC, but man they still cook.
