So my truck seams to want to lean to the left. like when its on flat ground the left side of the cab is lower to the ground by like an inch or two... I thought it was a bad spring so I replaced all of my springs with a 6 in lift kit.. Im happy with the kit. but it still leans... any suggestions?
Trucks a 1990 f150 4x4 single cab long bed with a 302
I had an allignment done 3 weeks ago... this guy I know says it dog tracks.. and I asked the people at the alignment shop about that and they said they would have noticed a bent frame during the allignment. When I first got the allignment it went straight down the road no problem... it veers to the left slightly now.
Yea your right. If they shifted that could cause a problem that would not be really noticable in the bed but it could get worse over the length of the truck and show more in the front.
Do all of the F150 trucks have the rubber insulators on the front coils, I have a 4x4 that leans also but can see no damage to the frame, but yet the spring seems loose in place like it has be compressed completly and never bounce or returned to it original height. I had thought about F250 coils but read they are leaf springs. I have a F150, 1988. Has anyone ever done a coil swap with a older F 250 that had coils?

pics show a lower spring seat and on that a front spring insulator than coil spring.
To be honest I haven't looked at the cab mounts on my 93, but I had a problem with the cab mounts on my 62. They had rusted out and I had to replace them. If you frame is not bent and the rest of the truck looks pretty straight I would look there. OF course that doesn't explain the dogtracking.
Mine does the same thing, its 1/2 inch lower on the driver/left side in front and back, I assumed it was because for 280k miles thats where my weight was but you said you replaced all of the springs and yours still does it. So much for that therory.
I have a coil setup up front. Rubber insulators on the bottom on both sides. My lift kit came with a 2 in block and an add a leaf. It also came with new pins for the leaf springs which I believe I installed correctly. All the mounts for the body are suspect. I see quite a few that are rotted out. I think they might be my problem
