ive noticed over the last couple weeks ive had some problems with just not having the power ive had lately. now all the sudden today it was acting goofy and it threw a code.
i ended up with p1211 and p0603. the truck dropped on its nose then picked right back up but its got me worried!!!! any ideas?
im running a programmer w/ 5" exhaust and intake
i dont know where i can go to look to get the breakdown of the codes can anyone help?
The P0603 is nothing. It means the computer memory was interrupted. Probably when the tuner was installed. The P1211 is ICP not controllable, also not uncommon with the use of a tuner.
Any number of things can cause a gradual power loss. A bad batch of fuel, dirty filter, failing pump, bad injector(s), high pressure pump, wiring harness, cam sensor....etc, etc.
The problem is the codes you pulled are meaningless with the tuner installed. If you reload the stock programming and still get an ICP code you'll have a starting point, but virtually all tuners and chips set a P1211 code.
Will you elaborate some on "acting goofy"? That may shed some light on the situation.
What year and model truck are we discussing anyways?
