2005 F-350 CC Harley edition, True Blue, PSD, loaded to the gills.
Retail plus the Lojack is $54,020. I paid $43,229 out the door after the A-plan and the $2,000 rebate that they FINALLY applied to the Harley editions.
I saw the truck this weekend when I was visiting the 'rents (my drool cup overflowed), but they wouldn't budge below the X-plan price. Now she's mine!
I'll fly up this weekend and have an awesome two day drive home.
Sorry for the rant. I feel like I'm going to burst.
As a Ford employee I have to say this IS the time to buy folks. A-Plan, especially on trucks and SUV's is a VERY generous discount. It won't blow you away on the little cars, but the above have a nice chunk knocked off the price. If you were on the fence about buying, get off and and get to you dealer for the best choice of inventory.
I'm lucky to get it anytime, this is temporary so go get that new vehicle discounted now!!!
I was on the lot before my dealership even opened. I purchased a F150 SuperCrew 4X2 loaded to the gills myself. Sticker was 33.325, A-plan was 28,125, then take 2500 off that as well as the extra 500 I received from Home Depot and that came to 25,125. I traded my 2000 2 WD 4door extended cab Ranger in that had 95k miles on it, but was paid off and got 6500 trade in and I almost feel like I stole the truck from the lot. I am a happy camper.
That doesnt sound bad and its a new truck. Dont wait too long folks when the 2005s are gone thats it. No 2006s are in the plan. The 2005 SDs are getting pretty scarce so if you want one off those better hurry in ASAP. You know when Ford gets there advertising going on this it might be too late. I might have to check out the new trucks. Those deals sound great. Give a guy more money to spend on fuel which is getting higher by the way.
If I was looking for a truck I would be buying one right now! I got my deal last year though. I am pretty sure the equivalent truck could not be had for any less now than what I paid...plus I got to order exactly what I wanted I am not sure if I could find a True Blue XL CC sitting on a lot anywhere.
I've searched the local NM inventories for an '05 SD Lariat CC w/ 8' box without success. Even in the Pacific Northwest, those are pretty rare and many come with Captain's chairs (need two benches). Good luck and jump on it if you find what you're looking for.
Sorry for the delay......I only just saw this thread. On July 8, I too bought a blue Harley Edition F250 PSD loaded with options. I absolutley love the truck in it's looks as well as it's driveability.(driveability much improved over my '03 7.3PSD) I couldn't believe with the employee pricing aside, Ford included the Harley Edition on rebates for the first time.
Just picked up a nice Eddie Bauer Expedition after getting about $13,000 off of MSRP. Interestingly, for a vehicle of this type in Maryland, Ford is still offering the new college graduate rebate ($500) but NOT the military rebate. How many recent college graduates can reasonably expect to buy a new Expedition?

That's why they offer a college rebate. It looks good for Ford but there are very few takers. It's a win-win situation for the auto manufacturers.
I just bought a F150 "work Truck". 4.2.Auto.,AC,cruise,sliding rear window, dealer included four year-100,000 warranty. $17,004.54 out the door. Traded a buddy for a factory hitch and installed it, bouth a few odds and end including upgrading wheels and tire and I don't have much over $18,000 in it. I'm a happy camper!
I went to Sheehy Ford in Gaithersburg--found a nice EB Expedition with all of my major requirements (RSC, safety package, etc.). It was one of the easiest vehicle purchases I've ever done.
Thanks. I was really planning to wait until next year, but with current prices were hard to beat. And they were fair on the trade-in for my 1997 Mountaineer with 163,000 miles.
