my front evaporater is plugged up the blower in the rear is blowing cold rear is blowing warm air how do i unplug the evaporer what does it look like on my 1990 e-150 van also i want to convert the R12 TO R134 IS THERE A KIT FOR THAT AND WHAT IS THE NAME OF IT
I'm not sure I understand what you just said. If you said that the rear is not blowing cold, check your heater control valve. Mine was stuck open, allowing hot water to the rear heater core and overcoming the evaporator.

My Rear Front Blower Is Blowing Cold Air
The Front Blower Is Blowing Warm Air
Somonw Told Me My Evaporator Is Plugged Up
It could be your evaporator, I'll agree. The heater core and evaporator are in the passenger side dash board above the foot well. My last experience with one of these was a 1981 model, so I may be wrong aobut yours. The 81 had access from the interior of the van, I believe.
It sounds more like a blend door, or heater core shut off. There is also a possibility of a bad vaccum control. The lever for the blend door may be broken inside the box. I had the reverse problem in a 1982 E350, no heat... The door was just jammed from when I put the new heater core in. Dad reached in and pulled the door shut, and voila! Problem solved... Instant heat, and that thing would roast you out.

Neither of us are looking at his van, but I'm 90% sure it is the blend door. The one on my 81 model van was cable operated, IIRC. You could see the cable move, it wasn't moving the door all the way. I don't think there's a way to prove the door is moving all the way to close off the heater core without physically opening the box enough to look at it.
I finally found crud keeping the door from closing all the way in either direction.
could it be a pluged orfice to the front evaporater? just a thought. does your rear A/C produce condensate or the suction pipe(larger) from it sweat?
just a thought

I DO NOTICE THERE CONDENSATION ON ON REAR BUT THE FRONT
DOES NOT PRODUCE CONDENSATION THAT THING THAT IS ALLONG SIDE
THE HEATER DO THEY CALL THE ACCUMULATOR I NOTICED THAT THERES
NO CONDENSATION ON THAT TO BUT WHAT DOES THAT PART DO ANYWAY
yes the acumulator is that aluminum cylinder like thing next to the heater under the hood, that is there to help prevent liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor.
If the system is low on freon, it may do this too.
I get this on our E450's eldorado buses. The rear will be cold and the front will be air temp.. On these they use one compresor with the condeser on the side, with one added benifit. We have the sight glass to check for bubbles. I remember have the sight glass on some 84 e350's.
1990 E150 ? Me too. It leaked freon since new. And it leaks more since it was converted to R-134A. If the compressor is cycling on and off, then it probably is low on freon.
