No brake/turn signals on trailer
My buddy has a 2002 Excursion V10 and only the parking lights will light up on the trailer, no brake or turn signals. It has a factory tow package and I know it's a problem with the truck because we hooked the trailer to two other trucks, an 05 F250 and a Tahoe. I searched around on here and found that there is supposedly a separate fuse box for the tow lights under the hood but I searched all over his engine compartment and couldn't find it. Only found two separate relay boxes on the driver's side firewall. My 05 F250 has a separate fuse box under the hood but it's a PSD, don't know if they didn't put the fuse box in V10's? or it's just different on Excursions. I checked all the fuses under the dash and all the trailer light fuses under there are all good. And all the trucks lights work fine with or without the trailer hooked up.
Any ideas?? We need to tow this weekend..

Welcome to FTE and thanks for joining us in the Towing forum!
I believe what you are looking for are relays. I don't know why they aren't included when the truck is built. If you tell the Ford parts counter man what you need he should give you the correct parts. Ask the service writer to show you where they go. They just plug right in.
