Sounds Like an Awesome Truck!!! ...maybe i will wait for that one!!! cept i would think it would hav some sort of pop/food dispensor in the cabin!?!? Also i heard that it wasnt a 100cd changer but a 1000 cd..you must of miss typed it.
I would not take the 1st year chance on the new 6.4, After all they are still working the bugs out of the 6.0. That first year motor always scares me off. I'd go with the 6.0 and let others be the 6.4 test rat. I was told by the ford service rep that the 6.4 is a 6.0 with more emission crap, a larger fuel pump and different injectors. THIS HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED INFO!!!!
ONLY RUMOR AND HERESAY!!!! Take it for what it's worth

Does it simply bother you that some people prefer to have a truck with more interior options?

As a matter of fact it does. They can't manage to add a light and lock to the glovebox, but they can add a bunch of useless crap. They are work trucks after all.
We can have a few more custom accessory packages too:
Soccer mom kit:
Diesel
PowerStroke Kid Carrier emblems
4 soccer ball emblems
Remove the sun visor and install a 8"x16" makeup mirror.
Remove tinted windows and install curtains
I'm with you Hellrazor. Too many people post on these boards and have no idea what makes a good work truck. If a truck dosent carry at least as many amenities as the old family mini van or sedan did, then you here all kinds of complaints out of them. Good truck motors like the V10 and 5.4 get discredited and called gutless because they don't offer the power to weight ratio's of a camaro or mustang. The diesel becomes the only way to go because you can add a chip and gain unholy amounts
of torque and power to make up for the power drain that the portable ice cream
maker creates. These trucks get lifted to the skies and become utterly useless for any kind of work - and again you here "I love the moon roof and the ice cream maker, but the V10 simply hasint got what it takes to pull a row boat - get the diesel". Then you check out the guy's gallery and see he's running 44 inch tires on a truck with a 2 foot lift and 3.73 gears....lol.
In the mean time the prices on these trucks continue to far exceed those of a nicely equipt family sedan like the Crown Victoria.
But in all fairness, if Ford can make someone buy a vehicle that is double the price of a car that actually suits their needs, well then it appears for once that marketing is doing thier job...

Many of the people on these boards have no inclination to buy a work truck. They want the versatility of a big dawg oruck with the comforts and performance of a car. And they don't care what it costs.
Some purchase these beasts simply because it is the mucho macho thing to do. Again, without a care in the world with regard to it be a worthy work truck.
That's why FOrd makes so much $$$$$ off their truck product lines.
