need help with a 96psd
i have a tapping noise sounds like the 3 cyl back on pass side and a slight miss more when its cold does this sound like a bad injector or a big problem[ hard to describe on comp]

no truck doesn't smoke they do have alot of miles 328,788 , but this does not sound like the famous cackle i hear the also but this is differnt , it sounds like the cackle but alot louder . does it sound like that injector is partly cloug [ 3 cyl back on pass side] and its running lean

if it has stock injectors, and that many miles, get new ones... all of them, it wont hurt. I think you get yours rebuilt my beans diesel performance or swamps for a fair price, they do upgraded ones too, but i think they will rebuild to stock.
