Strange Movement with Shifter
I am a C6 tranny with the column shifter and I have noticed a strange happening. I can't be too sure about engine temperature and what not, but it seems that when my engine is kind of cold and I really get on it, the shifter travels counter-clockwise, almost clicking into Neutral. It never leaves drive, but it does move....What is this?

I would guess your motor mounts are shot. Lift the hood, put it in drive, floor the BRAKE, and gently apply throttle. As the engine rpms come up watch the block and see if it moves a lot.
