2005 STX Mirror Question
I would like to put the power mirrors on my 2005 STX. It's the only power feature I really miss. I've know Ford in the past to utilize only one wiring harness regardless of what features your truck has on it.
My question is can I buy the mirrors, switch and interior trim pieces and just plug it in? Or would I have to run a new harness?

Actually, this time around Ford uses at least two harness, maybe three.
On my STX there were no power mirror/door/lock/Seat/wheel audio harness in the truck. There was cruise harness in the column.
I am afraid you will have to buy both mirrors, a switch, and a harness. Local Ford doesn't have the part number for Mirror harness by itself, perhaps someone with a better dealership could post that?
