2005 King Ranch A/V Install
Just got done adding some A/V stuff to my truck. I went cheap on the equipment b/c I wasnt sure it was going to turn out like I wanted. I spent a total of $390 for a DVD/TV/MP3/SVCD player/tuner, 7.2" monitor, 7.2" in-dash monitor and wireless fm modualtor. I can't wait for someone to make an adapter for the useless aux button on my HU. The install looks real clean and I am satisfied. I do plan on upgrading the monitors soon. To mount the in-dash unit I removed my ash tray and dremelled the bezel loose from the rest of the insert. Then I dremelled the cutout for the in-dash monitor. I reattached it with gorilla glue (so it is there to stay). I will post some pics.

How did you hook up the DVD to the factory speakers for sound while watching movies? I'm looking to "going the cheap route" as well, but not sure how it will all hook up.
FYI....there is a aux input adaptor now. Just search the threads and you can find it for approx $90. I guess I could run the sound from the DVD player to the aux adaptor, but not sure.
