Ford Explorer Accessories
Hey, I just bought a nice used 2003 explorer and there are a few imperfections that I wanted to fix by buying some accessories for my car. I've been looking online and I've seen some on eBay, and on the ford.com website. eBay usually doesnt have a great selection, and ford.com things come in packages, or are really expensive.
Im looking for the trim that goes around the stereo, and climate controls
on ford, they have it for $250 but that for all the trim in the car, but I just want the trim thats shown, I cant find it on eBay either. Anyone know where I could find it?
Also, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a new in dash cd changer. (Also shown in the picture). I dont trust buying it off eBay because in my old explorer I bought a used on and it was crap.
If anyone knew where I could buy either of these products, I would be eternally grateful

Ebay is your best bet. I see the center radio bezel on there all the time. In fact, I purchased two of them myself on ebay for a project. Do a search for "Explorer Bezel" and looking thru the results from 02+ bezels...

EBay usually has them, but like you, I usually see them in a kit. ANother thing you might look into is a company called Phoenix Imaging. Their link is:

I had a lot of pieces done through them. They have many different patterns you can have done. Mine are done in the black carbon fiber. They actually take your piece and dip it. It is not a stick-on kit. Check my gallery for pics of the pieces under 'Interior'.
As far as the radio goes, check ebay and the user's rep. You can usually find a good seller and get one for a cheaper price than anywhere else. Also check any local stereo shops to see if they have any that they have pulled from a car to put in a new system. I have bought a few that way. If that does not work, contact a company called Speedometer Service. Their link is:
