bad C.O.P. ?

washed my truck today, and it ran terrible after. It would idle fine, but under a load it misfired terribly. I'm guessing I have a bad COP, any ideas on how to find which one might be bad ? Does anyone know if they are expensive, and lastly, should I just replace all of them? I have 85k on the originals. Thanks

How many miles on the spark plugs?
If it misfires long enough it will turn on the check engine light and then scanning it will tell which cylinder has the problem.

We just had one go bad on our '04 E150 (at 32k miles). The van had to be towed....... It would not run.

Did you wash the engine? You may try using compressed air to blow out the spark plug pockets.
DO NOT wash these engines!!

Thanks for all the info & help. The problem was the #1 cylinder not firing. I pulled the COP and it was damp. My buddy told me to "stretch" the spring on the COP a little, which I did, and every thing is now workig fine. I won't be washing the engine anymore.
