Ricers VS tuners

I just want to clarify that there is a difference. Tuners are guys who have done crap to there car and actually made it faster, cams, heads, blowers, turbos, nos etc.

Ricers are the ones that give them a bad name with only cosmetic mods, and racing stickers and their cars cant live up to thier claims, and most stock trucks whoop there ***.

Tuners I respect, Ricers I hate, you will know the difference when ya see it. Tuners have no need to flaunt and brag they way ricers do. Tuners drive very respectful and fairly safe(usually) Ricers try to prove thier skill by cuttin people off passing to close, blah, blah, blah...

Let's be resxpectful to those real tuners that know what thier doin'
and even more respectful to classic muscle car enthusiasts with 600 horse V-8's

Ricers talk like there the fastest thing on the road, but aint got the ***** to race my dad's Buick for $20(mod money).

A ricer in mostly defined by there attitude. There attitude and the way there looks usually but, not always go hand and hand. I have met people with riced cars but not the attitude, and the other way around.

and don't forget those old pos galaxies i love it when one of those butthead ricers look over at me and laugh pointing at my 7 litre. they shout hey pops, want to run it?? as they are reving up their fart cans. i say naw, its just got a little 6 cylinder, didn't you see the tailpipe?? ( i only have the passenger side pipe showing) when the light turns green, tromp to the floor, side step the clutch, and shift the 4 speed at around 5500 rpm into second at 35, third at 65, then let off and look for them back in the distance and see them coming out of the smoke.

Like they say "People like to show off what they dont have". I just laugh everytime I see a ricer in the morning sporting a dual muffler setup but only has visible exhaust coming out from one side. *cough*ducttape*cough*

Have you ever watched NOPI tuner vision?

THe racers have done some amazing things with those cars.

Rice is everywhere. But where I live you don't see a lot of Modified imports that would qualify for the Tuner title

tuners i admire, hey w/e floats your boat right? (unless its a chebbie ) but ricers have the punk *** attitude that pisses me off, the attitude that want me to run the ranger right over their little ***.

sure its not fast but it'll beat just about anything offroad.... im thinkin of challenging a ricer to a mud bog....

I did that with my son's Grey 79 Cordoba while taking my daughter to a college class once. Nothing special but it has aluminum mag racing wheels (put on by a previous owner) but a stock 2bbl Carb on the 360 engine. A ricer pulled up right beside me at the light and looked over grinning at what he thought was a "granny car racing wannabe." I grinned back as my daughter said, "he wants to race you". The light turned green.

I won.
