Differences between 302 and 351

Ok, I just have a few questions about things i need to change on my engine. I switched from a 302 to 351w (EFI) and I'm working on getting it running right. Do i need to make any changes to the exhaust system to increase flow, or is it the same for both engines? Also its running quite a bit warmer than the 302 did, but still well within the safe limit, do I need a bigger radiator or water pump? I was looking at a cool loooking Edelbrock water pump with the Permastar finish, but it says they shouldn't be used with serpertine belts. Is that because the pulley will slip, or is it something i haven't thought of? Also, I hear people talk alot about checking for vacuum leaks, but is there any easy way to do that?

Thanks alot, any input would be appreciated.

well, if you think your having a vacuum problem, try spaying the area you think might be leaking with starting fluid, and listen for a raised idle, theres your leak. put a vacuum gauge on it and check.

thats a good idea with the starting fluid, thanks. But with the vacuum gauge, how would you know what was a good reading?

it should pull about 20 inches, but it could be lower.
