I have added dual exhaust to my 2002 f150 5.4L and it sounds good above 1200 rpm's. but it sounds like cramp at idle. it almost sounds like the left bank of the engine is sucking in , while the right bank is blowing out. anybody have any suggestions.

Its possible the exhaust tips are getting uneven air flow due to how the pipe is bent when it was run The exhaust will run more quickly out of the side with less constriction. I don't know whether you are running a muffler but a poorly constructed Y pipe could cause the uneven air flow as well.
If the left bank cylinders were not firing I think tha post would of been where to get a good rebuild. As for the un-even pressure, the length of the pipes will make a difference in sound IF you were running cat back 1 split into 2. True duals should blow out the same on both sides. On the end of the pipes, duct tape a small piece of cloth so it hangs over the ends. Fire it up and check them out. You can tell what it is doing with the movement of the cloth. It could be just sounding a bit different. But if one side is working ALOT differently than the other, then get it checked out.
