The Ranger was finally sold yesterday. $3000 is all I could get out of it. I was asking $3500 but no one even looked at that price. As I was sitting in the cab writing down the mileage on the pink slip I started to think how much I'm going to miss that little blue devil. I sure wish I could afford to keep her. Oh well...hopefully one day I'll be able to buy another one for my little "fun truck".
Yep. I had to sell the Ranger to recoupe my out of pocket expenses such as the down payment on the F-150. I loved that little Ranger...but only 2.5L of fuel injected fury and no a/c were two major downsides. Plus it wasn't an extra cab or a 4X4. So I got everything I wanted in a larger package. But dang...that Ranger sure was fun to zip around in.
That's cool that you got what you wanted in the end.
Nothing like trolling the other Ranger forums, well, just RPS, and seeing the occasional nag about buying a strip XL when buying something a year or two older for the same money means a loaded truck with all the goods.
Always buy what you want, rather than for newer model only.
My truck is base drivetrain, no power package, but I got AC and cargo lamps.....and the SuperCab thingie.
