Smile GAS TRIMMER EASY MOVER - Harbor Freight

All I can say is get one ~!!! OK I'd better say more, This gadget is just a set of legs with wheels that bolts onto your gas weed-wacker and they work great ! I thought about getting a light cordless electric but they start at $80.00 so I gave this a try and it takes some adjustment + getting used to, but at the very least it keeps the trimmer head at a consistant height so you "dig in" much less and preserve the string life. At best it eliminate the need for the stupid shoulder strap that you have to loop over your head before the wacker stalls ! For $7.00 bucks, why not give it a shot ?

Im not big on endorsements either, but I was so pleasantly surprised I wanted to pass it on.

I prefer Round-Up 3 times per season

I have a good string trimmer that hasn't been started for a few years. I prefer to use Round-Up on the fence rows and around walks, wall, and trees.

Does round-up freeze??? I could make some ice cubes and throw them in my nieghbors yard and get a kick out of the funny look on his face as he tries to figure it out!!!

Well, that is a different idea. Are grass trimmers really that heavy that wheels are needed now? And the accidental digins give the lawn character. Why would you want to get rid of those? lol. Actually, I like my gas trimmer the way it is now. I would not want to add anything else that would make it heavier or bulkier. It's easy enough for me to trim the fence and then a quick shaft rotation allows me to edge the sidewalk and curbs. But to each his/her own.

Heah, why not try to power the wheels off of the motor and you have a self propelled version!

Thats something for people who cant control a trimmer for crap to begin with. totally needless for me.I run trimmers for my living, and that would TOTALLY screw up my way of life. my Husky 323L isnt that heavy, its only 10.5 pounds with string in it.
