let you down

Sorry Strokers, i have not been around lately. Real busy trying to save some $ for exhaust and tuner. Just the other day I was headed out of town with my wife. Had two kayaks on roof and doing 60 mph. I must have been asleep because I did not see a duracrap sneak up next to me. It stayed there for about half a mile. It then got on it and left me in a huge cloud of black smoke. There was nothing I could do???!!!. He was not stock!!!!! -- screw saving the money, what tuner and exhaust do I need???. I already have the guages and proguard 7 intake fillter. This is not going to happen again!!!!! It was traumatic.

In tuners....it seems to come down to a narrow band of choices: Preditor or Superchips . Owner's of each respectively have given good reviews. There will be more views along shortly.

Unbiased? The dyno shop was a vendor for one of the chip lines! You can change dyno number in a major way on diesels simply by changing the roller load... and oil temps were not measured between pulls. Did you know that some of the brands listed actually were using the same tunes but showed different results? In other words, some "brands" actually didn't write their own tunes, they used tunes written by other companies yet those same exact tunes showed different results in this "unbiased" test.

Take the whole thing with a grain of salt, and all the tunes out there now are completely new stuff so the only way it could be valid (if it had been done non-biased) is if you're going to ask a tuner to put old, obsolete tunes on your chip.
