torque converter expert required
i just got a rebuilt with shiftkit aod to go in my truck. the truck is an 86 f250, 33s, 4.11 gears, rebuilt 351 .040 over, headers and true duals, mustang maf fuel injection running stock 5.8 truck manifolds, my cam is from melling 218 deg duration @.050, .461in valve lift, 107 lobe center intake, 119 exhaust. right now im trying to pick out a torque converter, i dont know weather to go with a stock replacement, a tork master 2000, or a tork master 2400. the truck is daily drivin so i dont want anything to radical but a little more launch would be nice. also the idle speed is non adjustable because of the computer and is set at 672 in neutral or drive if that makes a difference.
