Major Charging Problems
I Have A 1999 F-350 4x4 Power Stroke. First My Batteries Went Bad?. Then My Alternator . I Have New Batteries And A New Alt. And Sill Having Problems. My Volt Gauge Is In The Red And Nothing Recharging . Help!! What Am I Over Looking?

Mine had a short in the cable from the alternator to the computer, it grounded it and burned 3 regulators in the alternator, not good.
Then I put an older style regulator and disconnected that cable and everything worked great "till the truck died for completly unrelated problems (broken piston)
