I'm thinking about starting to look for a 1978/79 crew cab to restore but i havent seen very many except in pics...how hard is it going to be for me to find one and what price might i be looking at? I dont mind a fixer upper but would want complete junk. Thanks
They are hard to find, especially rust free. I found an F-350 for $250 that ran and drove, but it's full of rust, haven't decided if i'm going to buy it yet. Good luck!
get ahold of me if you if you have questions on 73-79 crewcabs, I have several I don't know if I would part with any yet but I might? I'm suppose to be trading 1 for some engine work i'm having done for my 76 crew but the deal is't done yet. if the deal doesn't go I mihgt have one I would part with
I'm intersted in what you may part with. I'm working on a 78 Crew 4x4, if you have a chance, click on my gallery for my e-mail address and drop a note! Thanks!
Id be thrilled to find a decent crewcab cab and doors. I have big dreams to stretch my f250 frame and put one on. I really want a 79 crewcab 4x4 with an 8 foot bed I have only seen one built before anyone else. Andy
I have a 78 f-250 crewcab 2wd, it has a nice cab, but is a short bed, I also have a 73 f-350 crewcab, it has a nice 8 foot bed but a rusty cab, I am putting them together and making one nice truck, and gonna try to get a 4x4 front end under it, they are real hard to find, I know of one in a junkyard around here, but is rusted out bad.
