Is there a way of adjusting the windwing? My passenger side windwing has a gap of about a quarter inch or less and won't close flush with the rubber seal.
I had my windwings apart last year when I put the lock handles back in the frames. Without seeing your setup, it's difficult to be sure, however (since not being sure never has stopped me), it sounds like your rubber seal is not seated properly. Perhaps cutting the back of the seal to get it thinner would allow the wing to seat closed.
Lowr... yes. The divider bar is adjustable. If your wing glass has been replaced check to see that your glazier didn't get too enthusiastic with his measuring and leave a little extra sticking out aft. Check your shop manual for the adjustment.
It does appear that the lower portion of the glass is out further than the top. I tried to push it in more, however I'm nervous about breaking the glass. It is very slightly off and will close tightly if I push on the divider rubber. Any way of getting the glass further in on the wingwind itself?
Not sure about pushing the glass into the frame but you might get a glass guy to grind down the glass a bit if it's not tempered. There are adjustment screws that will let you move the divider bar aft.
If it's just a little bit then I'd start here. Then go to the glass guy.
