removing my cats: consequences?
I was thinking about removing my cats for the sake of being an experimental teenager. I was wondering if there were going to be any adverse effects to my truck. I have a 1994 F-150 with the 5.8. Anyone have any bad stories that might apply here? The only sensor in the exhaust (to my knowledge) is the HEGO sensor, which detects if the mix is running too lean/rich. Is there anything I'm missing that I may have to work around? Thanks for helping fellas.

As far as im concerned, its ok (if they dont test around you) because the sensor is before the cats. Ive got three friends with the same year range, all 92-96 f150s and they all have 5.8's. None have run cats for about a year, and theres no complaints from them, everything seems fine. Im kinda out of place, me with my 6 and they each have windsors, i sure do catch a lot of crap from em.
