camper tie downs
just bought a new 9 foot camper and im wondering if the stake pocket style tie downs can be used on these newer trucks
i have a 2002 350 dually short box crew cab
i would use a belly bar on the front but with the fuel tank and leaf spring hangers being so far forward the belly bar type tie down would need a whole lot of modification to get it to work right
back would be no problem off the sides of the reciever hitch
is anyone using the older style stake pocket tie downs

yea, like this
when i got mine i also got a reinforcing bar that connects between the mounts and went futher to put some heavy C-channel above and below the bar that came with the kit, no problems
