F150daniel wasn't talking just about the engine and tranny electronics.
If you plan on ripping out the computers involved with a 99 model, you better figure out how the gauges (speedometer, especially) are gonna work as well as the chassis related stuff like AC....and you will be ripping out PATS, too.
If this is just a drag strip truck, we feel better telling you to rip everything out.
If it's a daily driver, well, you'll be our guest in telling us how a swap like this goes.
