You're going to love it! I have a small Lysholm screw supercharger on a 331 Windsor motor (not in my truck) and the torque curve is something else. Makes it an absolute pleasure to drive.

I sure hope so, the Ford Racing 306 sounds great and runs great, it is just a dog off the line and on low end. I have a 2400 stall with a built AOD and converted the stock 3.92 Dana 44 to posi. Replacing the Edelbrock 600 CFM and intake along with the Pertronix distributor and coil. I also like to drive this truck a lot on 3 - 4 hour drives so I hope to increase the low end torque and keep it streetable. A Holley 750 blower carb is going on with a new MSD distributor and a new 6A box with the adjustable timing boost control ****.

You have me drooling on my keyboard. Besides looking stunning, it sounds like it should be a lot of fun to drive. I could only dream of having something like that under my hood. Congratulations on having it under yours..

I'm not up on all the Ford offerings but imagine a 306 is already a hot little motor but what is the HP before and after with this gem added to it..I'd like to learn more on upgrading power to my 351w which I believe puts out a staggering 175 HP in it's stock configuration...lol

The Ford Racing 306 crate motor is 340 HP @ 5500 rpm's and 350 tq. Stout but not a beast, it is a 302 block with I believe a 40 over bore and other hot Ford parts off the shelf. Built and warranted by Ford for a year. I am keeping this blower mild which will add 150 hp. I can order smaller pulleys to push the boost and HP way up but I don't want to take it to far to the edge and start blowing things up. These blowers are designed to run reliably on a stock to mildly modified motor. If I stay out of the gas on the highway I should only lose 1 -2 mpg. Half the reason I am doing it is for looks and to fill up the big hood cavity. Ford with a Ford and add a blower!

This will fit on a 351 with an adapter. You can bore and stroke that 351 to a 427 and easily have 450 hp, I did this in a Cobra I had and it was a very HOT motor.

Odd thing is I always have preferred my classic and antique vehicles stock. I got some type of bug with this truck that I have owned 16 years now. I am definitely enjoying this one more.

Yes the stroker kits are very reasonable for the HP gain I am just finishing assembly on a 408 ci 351w I did spend extra on goodies aluminum heads, edelebrock intake and carb and the little things can really add up if you let them roller rockers , hardened pushrods etc. The bottom end including gaskets , oil pump , $ 380 cam , frost plugs machining and bottom end assembly was $ 3300 and if comp cams cam quest is close should be around 525 hp

Is that your heat/Ac in the center of the fire wall? I didn't see a pic in your albums
