Marine 300?
Has anyone ever seen a marine 300? I saw a reference to one the other day, but couldn't get any more info. Evidently, whoever was doing the conversions had trouble getting a steady supply of engines, so they stopped making them after a few years. Seems like the big ol' torquey 300 would be good in a boat...

I've seen one. Back when I worked for MerCruiser they had several competitors engines sitting around that they would test for comparison to their own. They had a 302, 351, and 300 in storage while I was there. I believe they were OMC's, but I'm not sure.
