Autolite plugs and FEs go well together. No reason to spend anymore money there.
Are you running Edelbrock or stock heads? plugs are different......I found out the hard way.
run a search in this forum for lots of discussion on plugs. As for wires, just get a decent set of performance wires: MSD, Taylors, whatever they have at your local store.
I run Accel u-groove header plugs and MSD 8.5 super conductor. The wires ran like $80 and the plugs were about $2 a piece IIRC. I have Edelbrock heads though. Just so you know MSD has a cool little tool for cutting/crimping plug wires. I used the one that came with the MSD 8.5's and it worked way better then trying to do it with wire strippers. there is also a more exspensive one you can buy seperatly but unless you crimp your own wires alot it's not worth it. I still have the free one that came with my wires. It works on 8 and 8.5 mm wires.
They do but I'm not sure if they have any for the FE. I know that having to cut and crimp wires sucks but the MSD tool makes it painless. It really wasn't that big of a deal with their tool.
