Oregon C800 COE ???

Rumor has it that there is a '53 or '54 C800 Big Job Cabover for sale somewhere in Oregon. Can anyone provide some info on this truck??
I would be interested in it if it is complete, and not a complete rust bucket.
Thanks in advance.

Ok guys, I posted it. I believe vintage56 pm'd me with the "Saving the COE." Love the title. It's near Sweethome Oregon. The current owners a chevy freak [yuk]. He wants it gone or it'll be cut and made into yard art (whata jerk) thinks he's doing the world a favor by cutting up a Ford.

Robertr,

WMjoe1953 (Joseph) helped me find a 49 F2 this spring. He helped out in many ways he did not have to. I ended up purchasing it without ever seeing the truck in person (Joseph did send a bunch of pictures for me). The truck made it to Texas over the Memorial day weekend and I could not be happier with what I got.

He really is trying to save these trucks from being cut up and crushed and asks for nothing in return. Great guy.

Down the interstate 35 miles near Medford (OR) is a junk yard with a nice '53 or '54, can't remember without looking at it. Don't remember what size, but the owner said it has a rebuilt 317". Don't know if it was rebuilt, but the engine sure was painted pretty.

I just checked my book, it must be a '54 C800, as this was the only model with a standard 317. Unless a transpant occured.

I've got more photos of the truck in Sweet Home, Oregon coming pretty soon. Thanks Tex for the good remarks. Just trying to do the world a favor by saving another old Ford from clutches of non Ford lovin evil doers. Save a Ford from the past and the future will be a wonderful place to live.
