step side brackets
Hey guys,
I am new to the board. And yes I have done a seach that did't produce what I needed. So please help me if you can. Thanks in advance.
I have a Ford F250, 4 door, 4X4, 4WD, V10.
I unfortunatley ripped off my factory installed passenger side step side(tube style) today. Actually the tubing looks fine but the three brackets just snapped in half. I am thinking I can just replace the three brackets. But I am not having much luck finding them.
Please help.

The obvious first thought would be to contact the Ford stealership and see about ordering them from the parts department. Or, if they are aftermarket but Ford stealership installed, then contact the manufacturer via website or phone # and inquire with them directly.
The last option is something I did for my wheel-to-wheel side step on my crew cab: I had a brace fabricated and welded it to the tube step then fastened it with a nylon nut to the rear seat bolt that is exposed on the underside of the truck. One brace on each side: $40 installed; about 3/4 hr timeframe. Check out pix in my gallery entitled "Revo's..."
