I did search the threads and couldn't find the answer. One thread gave the torque setting for the oil filter, but none mentioned torque setting for the actual drain plug.
I've got an expensive torque wrench which I'll use on the bolt. I've heard several horror stories where people have stripped this plug.
I can't help with the torque specs, but to help prevent any future stripping, consider going with a Fumoto valve (www.fumotovalve.com.) Many of us have gone to these and they are one of the best investments you could make. If the link doesn't work, cut and paste or type it in.
