flareside tailgate protector

I have a 1983 Ford Flareside and I am looking for
a tailgate protector, either in aluminum or stainless steel. Haven't had much luck at the local speed shop. Does anyone know if someone manufactures a tailgate protector for this truck?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
