Does anyone know if there is a roll cage made specifically for our trucks or am I going to have to just build one myself? And does anybody know what I would have to modify to fit it in. I'm just looking for the basic 4 point with maybe a cross bar in back. I have a single cab 75 F250.
look at jeg's website, i think there is one for our cabs, it just bolts to the gfloor though
You really don't want a roll cage to bolt to the floor. Properly built, a roll cage goes through the cab and is either bolted or welded to the frame. I race at my local speedway, and that is a MAJOR infraction if the roll cage doesn't go the frame. This is for safety reasons, which gives the cage more structrual integrety.....
They are not that hard to build, but if you are not sure about your welding abilitites, hire a professional. After all, a roll cage is something that could potentially save your life, and you don't want to mess around with that!!
there is a roll cage in the 4 wheel parts catalog tht goes in a 80-96? bronco. i reckon that it wouldnt be too hard to fit it in a f-series. you might have to cut a few holes in your back wall though...

yes, but basically he was asking for a prefab cage....so i told him about one, i think most of us know a cage that isnt attatched to the frame = bad
but look closely at hte Jegs cages it offers the option of under floor cab tie in that goes to the frame then you bolt the incab through the floor to the underneath portion that goes to the body by using plates on both sides of the floor board.
I was thinking of doing the same thing to my 74 F-250. I have heard you can take the roll bar out of a late 70's bronco and flip it around to fit in our trucks. I might try this and use it as the hoop above the seat back and then attach the other bars to it seeing as how it is already formed to right shape.
