hard shifting
i have 94 ranger (auto trans)and since i got my truck about 8 months ago i have noticed that when the tans shifts .. it jerks the truck a little bit. It jerks a bit harder when it shifts in to 1st and 4 th gear. I thought it might have been the trans fluid so i tho i would change it.. me being the kind of guy i am i did it myself.. Well i poured to much in so it when past the max line.But when idrove it with to much in it.. it shifted like it was brand new.. no jerking orr nothing.But when i got it changed again professinally it still shifted hard. another thing either the trans or motor makes a air sound like a pshhhh ..like when you let air out of a tire when its shifts...I know since i got a 94 maybe the trans Might be going bad? im at 97000 miles does anyone have a idea what might be making it jerk.. i mean its not a outrageoaus jerk.. but enough to fell it.. thanks for any help or comments.. wut could be making it shift hard and wut might be the air sound i hear?
